In 1997, Jeanne and Sidney Libit invented the Cool-Cuff, an insulating hot cup sleeve. Motivation came from a desire to prevent hot beverage cups from tipping over on airplane tray tables. That inspiration led to the patented design of the Cool-Cuff. The Cool-Cuff has many advantages over competing products, including having the most usable advertising space, making it ideal for the promotion of upscale products and services.
